In-School Health Services
Taos Behavioral Health
Comprehensive in-school support to Peñasco ISD students with severe emotional distress that affects their ability to function in a school setting. Each client can receive 1.5 hours of assistance per day. The program also offers after-school services. Taos Behavior Health works with Medicaid, insurance, and individuals on payment.
To receive services:
Parent/Caregiver contacts Racheal Pyne and signs consent forms.
Therapist meets with the child and assigns a diagnosis.
Therapist/Caregiver develop a plan of assistance for the child

El Centro Family Health
A school-based clinic at Peñasco ISD that offers behavioral and physical health services to students (including physicals and vaccinations). Services are offered to students regardless of income and language. Mental health resources are available for as little as $3.
